Bournazi Transfers

Bournazi is a district of Peristeri Municipality. It is located on the eastern side of the municipality near Kifissos Avenue. Bournazi was an industrial area in the past. Over the past twenty years, however, the area around Bournazi Square has been transformed into a nightlife center in western Athens, as much of the old factory facilities have been transformed into night clubs and cafes and the area has been identified with nightly entertainment. There are still some warehouses in the area, and there is also a rebuilding of houses. In Bournazi there were the facilities of the Alter TV station, which ended its operation in 2012..
