Kato Patisia Transfers

Kato Patisia has the main road axis of Acharnon Street instead of Patission. At Acharnes there is the homonymous station of Kato Patisia. They are defined to the north-northeast of Ano Patissia, to the east of Kypseli, to the south of Agios Nikolaos, to the southwest of Thimarakia and Sepolia, to the west of the Kifissos River and to the location of "Three Bridges", where the National Road of Athens-Lamia passes over Kifissos and the Athens-Peloponnese (closed) railway lines and Athens-Thessaloniki, in a remarkable technical work for his time. It is generally more densely populated than in Ano Patissia neighborhood. The church of Agios Dimitrios Arms took its nickname because only here Saint Demetrios is depicted armed. That's why its narrow area was called "Weapons" or "Weapons". According to another version, during the 1821 struggle, a group of fighters who had been killed in the temple for the night suddenly woke up with a single voice: "In the arms!" They got up and just came to ward off a Turkish attack.
