Thrakomakedones is a municipal unit of the Municipality of Acharnes in Eastern Attica. The settlement was established by a cooperative for the settlement needs of Macedonians and Thracians and until the beginning of the 1980s it belonged to Acharnes, where it was returned with the implementation of the "Kallikratis" program. It develops as a suburb, an area of exclusive residence and a model pre-designed settlement, stretching from the city to the foothills of Mount Parnitha. The community is quite sparsely populated and its vast area is communal areas and pine-covered areas. It has a purely residential character, a circular urban plan with wide street streets in the general spatial philosophy of Psychiko-Filothei and Dionysos. Surrounded by the lush mountainous mountains of Parnitha, it has two main entrances to the city. Access to the area is possible from Acharnes and from National Road, on the border with Kifissia. Aristotelous Street It borders with Varybobi to the east while at the southern border was built the Olympic village that hosted athletes of the Athens Games of 2004. It is adjacent to the Dhekelia Air Force, the Ikarian School and the former royal palace in Tatoi.
